Fitting gooseneck mount on seat rail - D3

    Hi all.

Searched the threads for info on removing the plastic covers that cover the front of the seat 'runners' at floor level on the front passenger seat. Got a gooseneck mount to secure to the runners for holding a tablet (for map viewing) and it's got a bracket to secure onto the front passenger seat runner.

Not sure if I'm making sense here but two questions:
    1) how do I remove the plastic cover to access the rail, and
    2) has anyone fitted a gooseneck and if so any thoughts on the best mounting point on the rail?

Apologies if any of this is covered on a previous thread.
    Tks in advance.
    Jonny

    Hi Johnny,
Strange though it sounds, you need to be more aggressive with pulling the plastic.

The covers are only clipped in.
