My symptoms are that when I drive the car after it has been parked for 20 to 120 minutes, the restricted performance warning appears.
It only occurs during the initial acceleration when the car is still warm, but not up to normal running temperature.
The actual loss of performance is not great.
Problem disappears after stopping with the ignition off until the park brake light is extinguished.
The problem does not occur every time, but only under these conditions.

Do you know the fault codes? Presumably they're airflow or pressure related but obviously only a momentary hiccup if performance is not particularly affected compared with a hard-on failure.
Mine's sticky isolation valve butterfly started as an intermittent fault most mornings that triggered the message without the loss of performance on the first climb after a down-hill start. Obviously the valve was coaxed to unstick and worked properly thereafter. Fault codes indicated possible turbo, MAF or MAP sensor faults. Eventually it stuck fast, requiring manual moving of the butterfly to clear the accumulated grit from between the lever and the housing. Whilst intermittent, immediately restarting the engine cleared the fault indication, to the extent that I got to restarting without stopping on the next down-slope (on the way to my front gate).

I do not know the fault codes and my issue is never with a cold ("morning") start. It only occurs with the engine cooled from normal operating temperature, but not yet cold.
If I get an answer or at least a cure, I'll let you know.

The car has been put back together and returned today. Nicely washed. The written report indicates that they found "internal electrical failure of LHS Turbo"
The LHS turbo has been replaced which involved removing the body etc.
It seems they lost the bolts which hold my GOE compressor protection plate. The plate is now secured by hex head bolts and has not been fitted correctly. This something I can fix and I still have a few of the roundhead Allen Key bolts Gordon supplies with the rock sliders that can secure the plate properly.
They have managed to preserve my wiring from my Traxide Isolator to a rear Andersen plug etc which follows above a chassis rail rather than the method Dave at Traxide recommends. I had explained this to the service people prior to the work being started.
And so all that remains is to wait and see if the dreaded "restricted performance" message reappears. I hope not.

any more "restricted performance" messages since the turbo replacement ?

I am pleased to report that there have been no more issues. The circumstances which previously caused the problem have been repeated many times. I am touching wood.
