    Making the Move. Quick question

Well seriously putting A into G now as can finally afford to move into a D3 so the search begins. I have read all the old post of what to look out for etc. Was looking at one today and noticed these markings on the lower control arms and was wondering if they may be a sign that the arms or bushes have been replaced. What are your thoughts.

They are marks to denote the original position of the bolt and plate to ensure it is put back in the correct position - so it would appear the bolt has been out and the main reason to do that is probably to replace bushes or LCA. I'd have changed that rusty ass bolt too ... oh well ... !

    Hi Randy Landy,
I found that they had left the spare parts stickers on the new arms, if they have seen a lot of action the stickers will have disappeared, not a lot of science to this however mine still had the stickers on and the manufacturing date aligned with the invoice.
