LED dummy load module for D3

    Hi
Could anyone point me to where the diagram is to build a Dummy load module (load resistors). New caravan with LED lights, balking at the price to purchase a ready made one.

    Cheers,
    Ken

Huh? $19.00 at Repco for a Narva LED resistor is too much ?

D3 also needs the relays in addition to resistors, IIRC. D4 only needs one resistor on across one indicator light on the trailer, or one on each if you want the trailer light on dash for both directions.

I think Ken is put off by the cost of something like a pulse buster that costs about $350. From posts on here these devices solve the problems and are widely used
However, if you have basic technical skills you can make one yourself with relays and led resistors enclosed in a waterproof box with plugs and socket for less than $70.

Yes, correct re making the device yourself. Just one further question, is it only the indicator circuts that need the resistor, not the normal lights and brake lights ?

    Thanks,
    Ken

Yes only needs to be on the indicator circuits. Don't forget the relays as well as the resistors.
