Also the TDV6 is dropped from the UK line up. LRA's web site has been updated this week to MY15 specs for "Build your own"
This is where I see it (page 92)

Just picked up my aug 14 build my15 sdv6 and no stop start though it's in the manual. Overall very impressed with the new nav system, Bluetooth etc. new tech pack way better than the old premium nav by a mile. Anyone on the fence about the premium sound also don't be it's amaze balls!

With the auto stop start it will be really good if someone can work out how to disable it. Like an auto tinger poke at the disable switch.

It could be as simple as installing a relay that's operated from the starter solenoid unless a delay is needed between releasing the starter and pressing the switch. Alternatively I expect it could be disabled in the CCF by a non-LR diagnostic tool as even my 2010 D4 has the setting.

If it is anything like the Audi I had as a loaner, it isnt even this difficult.

I played with it for a couple of days, but then it just got annoying. Found the menu option, and just turned it off.

Audi may have a system where you can disable it fully, but i know with the LR once you turn it off and then when you restart the car its back on again. Is the Audi able to be fully turned off all the time?

Very interesting! However I would think that this second battery is likely used for other systems as well. Hopefully a competent brave soul will figure this out. I am not competent to try.

Yes, many of the new VWs ( Audi ) come with to owner selectable switches.

One is like the LR set up, where you can cancel the S/S operation for a given trip.

The other switch turns it of permanently.

Why can’t all the manufacturers do this?
