D3 & D4 suspension drops lower than the RRS. My D4 will lower approximately 50mm below access height.

So will my D4. Means I can just get my 90 year old parents in the car. Otherwise it is too hard for them. Never had any alarms or anything using Llams -50 on top of access level. On my Llams I had the choice of -20 (I think) or -50 and went for the -50 setup.

Highly recommend it. (Was one of the first things i did :-) )

    Hi Pete.

Would installing LLAMS cause a potential warranty issue? I realise you can disconnect it but does the onboard computer keep a record and/or could a service tech tell it had been installed? I'd love to install it as my wife would have easier access with it lowered a bit more than oem access mode.

The too-low alarms stopped for MY07 onwards.

Low can be configured -20 or -35 but both go to -50 for extra low when the button is pressed.

I'm not Pete but I can tell you that I have had several warranty matters attended to with no questions asked while having Llams installed. At least one of those claims could be "loosely" associated if LR wanted to get difficult in that it related to a front end issue.

The inbuilt calibrations have low as -20mm but if calibrated on the vehicle then the procedure is slightly different to set low as -35mm rather than the usual -20mm.

The suspension ecu does not know that the signals are being altered so cannot possibly record the usage. If the suspenion ecu is alive when the connectors are unplugged then a fault will be recorded for each sensor. This can be avoided by either disconnecting the battery during fitment and removal or by removing the 20A suspension ecu fuse from the engine bay fuse holder.

I wouldn't wave it in a dealer's face on a vehicle under warranty. If there is a suspension fault or a height sensor has to be replaced or the vehicle height has to be recalibrated then at least the module should be removed. This will ensure its not Llams causing the fault and the service people will only have to deal with LR components - one cannot expect them to know whether Llams is causing the fault or not.

I have booked in for some warranty work to be done, and it has been approved.

18 inch GOE rims fitted caused no issue with warranty.
LLAMS fitted caused no issue with warranty.
Non genuine LR bar fitted caused no issue with warranty.
Safari snorkel caused no issue with warranty.
Mitch hitch caused no issue with warranty.

Warranty cannot be effected unless LR can prove that the non genuine accessory caused the fault....and it's only in that area, not the whole factory warranty.

Llams -20, plus access height, plus little red button drops her a long way down and looks cool in the car park or at the camp site. Gets the nissota tongues dribbling

    Brett....
