Thread: Oil sample results D3 gearbox 190k

Hi There,
Hope this works to a point that you can read the results. I changed the gearbox oil in my D3 in August. I sent a benchmark sample of new oil and a sample of the oil drained out.

This sample was taken mid stream, not at the beginning or the end and the gearbox oil was warm, not hot. As you can hopefully see it was well worth changing when I did. Doing another partial change maybe Feb next year.
