Agree with the comment about the rib down the back - you can feel it.

Went back to the dealership and jumped in a MY14 TDV6 - same thing as mine. One of the service guys came out and explained the way it works. There are no TB's for this seat I am told. The SDV6 doesn't do this at all but has electric mechanics and seems to be a more solid seat.

I have found (I am a short person 5'6") that I slightly depress the height lever on the side of the seat as I get in & out of the car with my hind quarters.

Highly unlikely as I said earlier, the dealer confirmed there is an issue on some vehicles thats causes the seat to lower...and there is a fix with a replacement mechanism, but as Im 194cm or 6'4 in the old money I don't have any issues getting in or out either.

Our family MY10 is exactly the same, with just a little front - back wiggle with acc / deceleration from delivery day one, but could never pin down the source. Don't care now as it's replacement comes Friday

I had the new parts fitted under warranty because of this problem. Makes no difference, seats still drop down over a couple of days
