    9.7 l/100

    Am getting 9.7 litres per 100 kilometres from the MY14 Disco 8 speed currently whilst on the open road and fairly loaded up each time.Am impressed for such a big car with constant 4wd.Car only has 2800 on the clock.Could those figures improve even more when engine loosens up with say 40,000 on the clock?

    Is that what the car computer is saying or what your working out with litres at fill up and kms as sometimes the trip computer tells lies haha!!

    Well that is according to the trip computer but should work it out the conventional way to see if there are any surprises.

    Yeah the trip computer has a tendency to be on the positive side when you fill the tank up and reset the kms it often comes back a litre or so difference.

    Mines done 5000km,getting slightly better indicated milage.Usually 9.1 to 9.5L 100km.Seen it drop as low as 8.7L/100 AV when traveling 75 to 90kmh.

    RRS TDV6 14

    6.8 ave on computer over abt 5 thousand is, corrected to 7.1 from litres used and pro distance. This was on a trip up east coast and back down Newell hey. Started at abt 1500km so still fresh. Pretty impressive economy figures.

    I have started using the instant readout,you can use command shift on hills to up a gear as the auto seems to let the engine rev instead of lug.The numbers tumble

    Seen 21L/100 drop to 12L/100 instant simply by requesting 8 instead of 7
