    New compressor guard available

I've just fitted a compressor guard to my Disco 3.

I got the guard of Ebay from a seller who make guards for Prados. Seems he is branching out, or is that UP.

Anyway, the guard is very well made, fits very well and is installed using existing bolts on the Disco.

This is the only criticism I have.
I added an additional bracket to the rear which is attached to the rear suspension bracket.

I've advised the supplier of what I've done and it will be interesting to see what happens.

Even so, I fully recommend purchase of this guard.

    Trevor

Took the supplier 7 minutes to respond to my feedback so he is obviously keen.

I've now got to take some photos for him so that he can investigate some additional support brackets.

I'll post them here when I've done it.

    Regards

    I honestly don't know Graham.

I just had a look at the picture of yours from your website and would have to agree there are many similarities. How many attachment points does yours use? This one has 3 originally, I added the fourth.
Also I noted his has some drainage holes, whereas yours doesn't.

Though in his defence, if I was going to build my own guard it would have been pretty much the same thing, except for the bends. I couldn't have done that.

I do not condone theft of intellectual property, I just noticed something on Ebay that I was considering making. It was too cheap to pass up so I bought it.

Since it has turned out to be of a good quality I've passed the info on to this forum.

Just what a good forumite should do.
