    Need help! Refuelling question?

    Hi all,
I may be crazy. BUT the last 3 times that I've refuelled the disco 4 2012 2.7ltr
( 3 different service stations). The auto shut off on the nozzle activated ALL the time. I'm talking 1/2 a second after pulling the trigger.
I tried gentle/ hard squeeze, various angles and depth of the nozzle.
    On/off, on,off, On/off, on,off, On/off, on,off, On/off, on,off.

    Is it me?

OR may it be something else?

Check you have not activated the safety thing that triggers if you try to put petrol in. I am pretty sure you can still get fuel in after it trips , but only slowly. Peer down the filler and ensure you can't see anything yellow, if you do get the thing out of the glove box and reset it.

    Regards

I wonder what set it off in the first place? Have you filled it from a jerry recently?

    Not the first time

    Rumman 43,

Next time you go to the servo where you reckon the problem started, check the nozzle on the diesel hand piece. Sometimes the servicing agents or the servo staff who fix / service the pumps get it wrong and install an unleaded nozzle on a diesel hand piece.

I have experienced this problem myself and it took a little while for the penny (as well as the fuel) to drop.
