    Question New D4

New D4 now called "Discovery" TDV 3.0.
Do thes need to be "run-in" when bought new, and how ?

2015 D4 probably the most amazing yet, why get a RR?

Firstly welcome to the Club, you'll enjoy it immensely (the D4 and the Forum).

Sorry to state the obvious, but have you had a look at the relevant area in the owners manual? I'm not sure of what it says as I have a D3. But best to follow the procedures outlined there.
    Regards, Will

Dont tow for ~2000km and just drive the thing...

Dont flog it, dont baby it, and use the gears so you dont lug at the same rpm for a long time...

    Welcome to the D4 group.

Do what I did and simply drive it 7052km to get it home over 3 weeks. Temperatures between -5 and 48, rain, hail, dust and sun. Nicely run in

Like Tombie mentions and also don't redline it. It's all in the owner's manual.

Agree with Tombie, dont tow for the first couple of Thousand kays and give it a good 2-3 minute warm up when you first start it. The engine will losen up after 50,000klms

    Good Luck !

    Don't warm it up.
    Start it, drive it...
