    Nice pic Scott,

Would you mind emailing me a copy? I don't have that colour combo in my collection.

    Cheers,

Standard LR nuts and centre cap look fine with GOE rims.
I'm not sure about the white lettering on the tyres though. Looks a bit too busy for me.

I agree on the first point but am undecided on the lettering Ron. I was in two minds and under pressure to make the call at Jax. I decided that I can always put matt black paint over the white letters if I don't like it. I'll see if it grows on me or not.

I got D697s for $394 fitted & balanced. A comparable 19" tyre would be the Duratrac for which I was quoted $540 fitted and balanced. You can obviously get cheaper 19's and "comparable" is always arguable but that is the tyre I was going to get if staying with 19". And that's not even considering the reduced likelihood of flats going from 19 to 18, which I also recognize is arguable.

Anyway, how they go is of course the true test. I think they look awesome as well.

    Hope that helps.

What size tyres did you go for?

Scott, that looks great, I think some serious penny saving is now in order.

Hi all, just be weary about the standard center caps, mine from the 20" wheels fell out, lost 2/4 while around west McDonald ranges, (should be easy to find next time I am up that way, nice and shiny in all the red dust) they were a bit loose in the 18" rims. Fortunately at $15 each to replace it is not another body part to be mortgaged.
Nice work Scott, mine is same colour, same wheels, same tyres but mine are incognito.

A dab of silicone stops that

No doubt everyone has an opinion on this and they will never all be the same.

But I reckon your vehicle looks great with Gordon's wheels fitted - and with the lettering showing on the tyres.

A colour-matched bulbar and a decent set of sliders would set it right off.
    Cheers .........

I got a set of 4 of these on Ebay for $25. They appear to be genuine and fit well.

Then I was considering getting these black ones to go with GOE wheels but now thinking I'll keep the silver ones because I think they look pretty good.

I'll use the silicone trick now too I think.
