    D4 Terrain Response Mud Ruts

So this morning we went for a burn out the back of our local town the first time I've played around in the mud and sand and hills in the Discovery 4.

I have a question about the terrain response mud ruts mode? Do people turn the esc off as is always best on sand mode or is it best to leave it on in mud ruts mode?

Yes i did manage to somehow loose the front number plate hahahah

Wasn't aware I was supposed To turn esc off in sand mode! Is this stated in the manual? Cheers for the info! (Wonder why sand mode doesn't just adjust or turn off esc one its own..?)

You guys need to get Gordon's book (GOE handbook). All will be revealed.

Also, take a look at the FAQ's, heaps of good info on the various TR programs.

Turning off ESC in sand mode has been discussed heaps of times on the forum and is also in the FAQ's. I knew about this months before buying a D4 after reading the FAQ's the 7th post from the top of the list on the D3/D4/RRS forum.

GOE manual is vital. There are times when DSC needs to be left on (not in sand) and this booklet will reveal all.

I don't, only been on sand once, but the car did preform better with the DSC off, and it's the only time I've turned it off.

Only thing I turn off every time I go offroad, is the HDC.
