D3 TDV6 Denso 150amp Alternator overhaul, clutch pulley & regulator

hi, i just sufferred the death of the diode bridge on the Denso 150 amp alternator, and I suspect its demise was related to the death of the air compressor. Anyway, new alternator arrived today from Island 4x4 in the UK for $475 delivered to regional WA. Fitted by me in about 45 minutes and all good.
So now I want to overhaul the old alternator with new bearings, new brushes and diode bridge, and have a good spare.

But first.... can anyone advise (from experience) how to remove the clutched pulley ?? I can see the small hex head inside the recess in the front of the pulley but is that the one to remove? and is it normal thread or reverse thread? I can put a battery powered rattle gun onto it but I dont want to trash it, by going the wrong way.

Also, can anyone point me to a supplier for the diode bridge and brush assembly?

 Ta much.
