    Nozzle trap on Discovery 2015

    I've noticed the fast-fill nozzle for diesel is similar to that for petrol.
    Would this set the trap off, and what do we do in areas that only have
    fast-fill nozzle? Carry a funnel?

    Most fast fill nozzles I've see are fatter than the usual diesel nozzle and do not actually fit into the filler neck properly, and therefore can't set off the trap.

    However you do need to be careful when using them as they do restrict airflow and if you fill too fast you can end up with fuel splashing back at you when the filler neck is full.

    Just go slowish and don't block the breather holes above the main filler hole and you'll be fine.

    Correct a fast fill nozzle means the size of the outlet is significantly larger than a normal one which is pretty much the same size as a petrol one just a different design which is where the trap actually gets triggered

    Right - there are normal diesel nozzles, fast fill diesel nozzles... and if you are in a mining area, there are "very fast fill nozzles"! I was in Mt Isa a few years ago and the nozzles they use for the trucks there make the standard diesel look puny.
