Need to do the oil in my 06 auto tran. What can be used beside life guard?
Common transmission. Can't beleive life guard is it. Can I go to show creeps or auto one and get something?

Tony at Global Automatics[94343718] in Bibra Lake specialises in ZF automatics.He uses an alternative to the Lifeguard oil,give him a call.

						SubscriberThe ZF site lists all the approved fluids, and I listed them on an earlier thread.
They are all OEM oils.
I wouldn't be putting any non ZF approved oil in a ZF 6 speed seeing it costs about 7K to rebuild them.
