    EBC

    Is anyone able to tell me what colour the wire under the dash to the brake lights on a 2011 D4 is?
    The previous owner removed the EBC and simply cut the wiring up under the dash(taped up). I have Id the Batt feed to the unit and the power to the operate the van brakes wire. Taped up with these wires were a black wire and a green wire, which were joined together? I first assumed the black would be the earth and the green the feed from the brake cct. Any idea's?

    Please read the EBC sticky first. The brake switch has two switched circuits. Tread carefully here.


    Color codes are:
    PY = Purple with Yellow trace
    GP = Green with Purple trace
    UR = Blue with Red trace
    B = Black

    On The EBC Unit the following are the colours as they are ALL the same.
    Black - Battery +ve Supply
    White - Earth -ve
    Red - Brake pick up
    Blue - Variable voltage feed

    Do not take brake pick up from under the dash, it will cause issues & faults.
