09 HSE D4 GPS plus radio connectivity

    Hello,
with an upgrade for the GPS is my only avenue through a dealership?

The radio will not accept/read the wife's phone for blue tooth music nor as an auxillary. Is this because of the age of the unit (09) model?
    Regards

There is no Bluetooth streaming of audio in the pre-meridian systems. I think the Evoque was the first LR to have the capability.

You may be able to get this capability in yours (2010 HSE) if you have the iPod cable, you could connect a 30 pin to BT adapter like this to your iPod cable:

Buy AirBeatz Bluetooth 30-Pin Dock Adapter | Read Reviews | Dick Smith Online Shopping

There are a multitude of these devices around so do some research to find the one that suits you best.
    Cheers,

    Sean
