I don't but am interested if anyone has the machine.
They run for $500 or so on ebay.

Does anyone know of anywhere in western sydney, or even anywhere in Sydney for that matter, that does a mega flush or power flush of the D3 auto box? I can do the normal drain refill myself, but am looking to change all the oil in one go rather than mixing fresh and old.....or do I need to improvise and come up with a diy method of doing this?
Cheers
Andy

Andy,
If you search for an automatic service shop that has a Wynns machine, they will be able to do it.
I found a place close to home that has the machine - but would not do the work on my D4, due to a risk of killing the ZF box. This was due to the batch of ZF which had a poorly made stator bush, as mentioned by Graeme before.
Let me know if you want their name.
Thanks Jonsey,
Would appreciate their details, fyi the D4 has a thermostatic valve on the gearbox oil cooler transmission line which only allows oil flow to the cooler when hot, so they can't be flushed easily with a wynns machine (unless you pre heated the new oil).
Thanks
Andy
Here ya go, ZF Services recommended service centres, there 25 in the western Sydney area.

Andy - from what I understand, the hot ATF from the gearbox goes to waste and the fresh cool ATF goes back in. In other words - yes, the gearbox has to get up to temp before you start dumping the old ATF.
This is the place I tried: Sutherland Shire Home Tuning & LPG Centre | motor vehicle mechanic and maintenance
As they declined to do the work (for fear of the lead-free stator bush issue), I went to another shop. They replaced the pan with the ZF steel BMW one, filter and 5.5L of ZF LG6. I am about to have another dump and replace of ATF and that will do for another 60k km.
Thanks for the responses, found this you tube clip by ZF, US based but still great info
