Changed the gearbox oil and filter today for the second time, this time 53,000ks on the oil. It was no where near as bad as the first change at 72,000ks but by the looks of it and the slight smell I would say it was due to come out.


In that 53,000ks done about 16,000ks towing a camper trailer but the rest is city driving / highway driving.


Its a far easier job the 2nd time with the steel pan and for ease of the job the steel pan was worth every cent.


When I can work out why I cant post pic's I will put a couple up of the oil that came out.
