And he actually gets paid to write that "advice". My dog could do better. Or at least no worse.

get a load of this then (linked in the article)
Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Platinum v Land Rover Discovery 4 SE head to head comparison
They call that a road test .... Did they even drive themWho give a crap about "looks" and "specifications"... How do they compare with 3tons swinging from the towbar ..... what about corning on corrugated roads ... what about *anything* useful. The land rover is apparently better offroad because the spec sheets say it has something called hill descent and some other bull****
Do they only hire morons to do those types of articles

Of course not... Neither.... But that's just it ... It reads like I wrote them .... Someone sitting there reading spec sheets
My cars are all old crap.... I excel in collecting garbage... and having a ball actually driving them
Who cares what the interior looks like ... or what electronic crap (that'll break not long after the warranty is out) it has. What's it drive like? what's it tow like? does it corner ok? How does it handle corrugated roads etc.... ie: stuff I can't tell just by reading the advertising pamphlets

I've driven the Jeep. Nice car, nice motor, looks nice, but I wouldn't buy one...it isn't left leg friendly. I own an earlier model and a big downfall is there is very little space to put your left foot because the transmission hump intrudes a long way into the floor well. I was interested to see if they had corrected the issue in the new model and they have not. To make matters worse, they moved the parking brake from the centre console down into the foot well as a foot operated one. I found it very annoying hitting my left shin all the time. A nice car, perfect for people with amputated left legs. I don't know why 2 legged people put up with it...I've been told you get used to it if you persevere.
