Thread: 12N socket adaptor

Gents,
sorry to bring this up for the nth time

I would like to tow a normal unpowered trailer with a round 7 pin socket

Do I require the standard large round 7 pin to small round 7 pin adaptor for the 12N socket, or do I need a special Euro to Aus converter....which I have not been able to source

You need the standard large round 7 pin to small round 7 pin adapter.

I have a few of them in my shed and use them a lot - though I have now converted both my own trailers to the large round 7 pin plug.

You can buy the adapter you need at any auto accessories shop.
