    TPMS on D3

    Hi guys,
Does anyone know if one of these kits would work with the Factory HSE sound system & display?

TPMS Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for In-Dash DVD Systems and External Monitors

It would be good not to have to have a separate display unit if this could be integrated.

I was looking to do the same thing. There is a spare aux video input available on the HSE head unit/GPS screen but I'm not sure yet how to get access to the feed once it is connected. I've seen menu options available to select dvd's etc however this may require a CCF mod (like the 4x4 info update). To connect the video cable, you will also need a SMB to RCA adaptor. I bought mine from the UK Disco3 website (took about a week to arrive). Nav Screen Cable - SMB to RCA (Phono) - FAKRA compatible - DISCO3.CO.UK - Shop

You've inspired me to have another look at it.

Yeah I've already got that cable fitted to mine, there are 3 connections on the back of the unit. Rear camera, Companion camera and DVD/TV.
I have a rear camera connected using this cable.
I can use it if I want but it's not as easy as just selecting reverse, it's selected via the hidden menu so you have to log in before you can see the camera.
Access is via Video Input tests.

Yes within the CCF it should be able to be turned on.

I've got a Nanocom so I'll see what can be done with the CCF. What reverse camera do you have and where/how did you mount it?

Yes please, I've just got a generic camera fitted inside the top of the tailgate. More pointing down to see the actual back of the car.
It's not for reverse parking guidance. Just proximity.
