Thread: Dumb question 2. removing trim

Hi,
It looks like the ashtray has been modified to take and electronic brake controller. This is good news as I was going to fit one anyway.

The question is: which side am I likely to find the wiring and how do I get the trim off to have a look?

Probably drivers side. Have a look at the Sticky thread on D4 EBC. It has a couple of good posts covering trim removal including photos. I forget which page in the thread. Trim on D3 is the same.
