    Lower Control Arms.

I can see this has been covered a bit but I can not seem to find a definite answer.

Can the RRS front lower control arms be used as a direct replacement in a D3?

    cheers

    Hi Will Wallace,
I'm pretty sure they fit however I haven't fitted them to a D3. I think there is some difference, something about the anti roll bar, maybe it is just a bigger diameter. I do know that the RRS sport arms are a stronger build than the D3 ones.

I usually only like to comment on something I have actually done. Sorry I can't be more help.

    Cheers Marty

Some say with the Super Pro bushes the ride is not as smooth as the original bushes, although they should have a longer life.

    Hi Eddy,
The ride is shocking, I replaced my Polybush bushes with originals about three months after I had installed them. Easy to fit etc however the down side is the harshness of the ride and road noise.

    Cheers Marty.

Is it really that easy? I had the impression from what I read that it wasn't worth rebushing, I've just bought a pair of LCAs from advance factor but have not fitted them yet, though I don't intend to throw the old ones away just yet incase rebushing is easier than I have read.

The special tools in the pdf are what put me off, am I wrong?
