Get it back to them quickly or they could try to say you overheated the discs thru prolonged heavy braking.

Hi guys, I have new front rotors and pads on my D4 (literally a week) and when under braking at freeway speeds they have a shudder and the steering wheels moves slightly from side to side, with a slight pull to the left.
Prior to the front brake change there was no issue, so it's directly related to the front brakes.
Under low speeds around town they are fine.
Any suggestions?

I don't have it in front of me but something like:
Several times going to a certain speed then braking with an even but not hard pressure.
Each time you drive a little faster then brake the same.
Last time I had rotors done (SWMBO Delica) the brake bloke did it for me.
He said if not done properly the pads damage the rotors somehow.
Sorry I can't remember it all but he did say it was important.

Hi guys I doubt the bed in procedure would cause this it's more to get the pads up to temp to start them grabbing the disc. Time an time again I see people installing new disc without polishing the hub face. One bit of dirt there will give run out and cause your issue, did you do the brakes or they did. If they did take it back. This type of run out also causes hot spots and warping of rotors as the rotor always contacts in this spot therefor is hotter and uneven to the rest of the rotor. Just my two cents but

I fitted the pads and discs myself.
some have mentioned tie rod arms, and bearings, but i would assume at 38,000K's and it having a end of warranty service 3 weeks ago, that this would not be the case?
Yeah take the rotors off and scrub inside the hat and the face of the hub with emery.
I would think that because the only difference is the brakes then this is your problem . If not swap front tyres side to side. Maybe you knocked a wheel weight off also get tyres balanced if issue doesn't go away
