    No problems. Just do it but first check it hasn’t already been done if you haven’t already. You wouldn’t be the first to buy the kit to find the fix has already been applied.

    my MY11 SDV6SE is not showing any signs of said smoke, I still have to check if the mod has been done, my VIN falls within the range as per the TSB. I’ll probably do the mod anyway as a precaution. Should not be too hard to do

    Easy to check, see if blanking plate is fitted...turn to full left lock and view just above the sump plug. Oil drain blank.jpg

    just checked, still original set up, but not blowing any smoke.

    had a closer look what’s involved, think I’ll defer this mod until I get the smoke issue....
