Dumb question #5 - valve block refurbishment

It looks like I have the standard drivers side front valve block leak. Is there a refurbishment kit available?

If not does anyone know the size/type of O rings required to rebuild?

Basically, pull it apart, clean and relocate the o rings, or replace them, and your done.

I cleaned the o rings on my front one over 50,000k ago and no more problems.

You might be lucky and it costs $0 to try.

I dont know why you consider it a dumb question.
It dosnt say you shouldnt put toast in the video Vivian
If you think you are up to removing that valve block and replacing it have a go.Pirtek etc will have the new o rings, just a matter of finding out what size they are before you start.Make sure you get some lube,Pirtek will have some,we just use normal oil when o rings let go on hydraulic equipment at work.Being a air system there may be a better lube.

I am tempted to have a go. The issue I have is that once the valve block is off I have no way to go and get replacement O rings.

I was hoping there was replacement set available - where someone had already worked out what size the replacement O rings need to be.

Surely somebody should know the O ring size so you can buy them beforehand.
