It's possible to spend another $30,000 + on factory options on top of the base HSE price. My 2010 D4 was $125,000, and the (fully optioned except for Black Pack) MY2016 I have on order (due late January) will be $135,000 +. I'm sure it's possible to get better pricing on "in stock" vehicles, but I prefer to order exactly what I want. Options are worth very little extra when trading in, but we are keeping the D4 (and a D3) we have, so not so important over 10 years or so. Both vehicles have been ultra reliable. No repairs at all on the D3, and the D4 has had a suspension compressor (extended warranty) and an alternator (out of warranty) only.
