Test drive day on Wednesday for me.. Back to back to do real life testing
I agree with Meken..... there is always more.
Can't remember anyone complaining that they have too much power 😆
Cheers, Craig

Look forward to hearing your conclusions!
On the space + kids issue, we went for a RRS over a D4 simply because of inner city car park heights, and have accepted that for road trips we'll have the roof pod or rack and for remote touring/camping we'll have the trailer. I think in reality given we have two Oztents etc etc it'll just stop me trying to overload the car. And you've already said you tow.
My wife really does appreciate the RRS dimensions in town.

Then 2010 D4 TDV6 'Jumbo' w traxide DBS

Is a RRS that much smaller ?
From memory the pre 2014 RRS was only about 50mm shorter and 100mm narrower than a D4, the new RRS is longer and wider and again from memory has a greater turning circle than a D3/4.
The Previous RRS definitely feels much more compact when sitting in it but is in reality not that much smaller so I can't see why a couple of inches makes any real difference when parking.
Cheers,
Terry
D1 V8 (Gone)D2a HSE V8 (Gone)D3 HSE TDV6 (Unfortunately Gone)D4 V8
RRS 4850L x 2073w (mirrors folded) x 1780h
Disco 4 4829L x 2053W (mirrors folded) x 1887
RRS turn circle 12.3m
D4 11.45m
Length & width nothing in it - yes 100mm more height but there shouldn't be many carparks lower than 1900 anyway
turning circle almost a metre better in the D4
I think it's a perception thing
It's the height of the L320 that makes the difference. The rest is indeed psychological except for the lack of cargo space and thirdrow seating![]()
