Thread: Disposing of Gas Struts

I replaced the gas struts in the bonnet and tailgate. The old struts have a statement under the LR label saying that we should "observe disposal instructions" whatever they are.

What's the best place to dispose of them in the Melbourne region?

Put them in the give away section.
There are places that re-charge them cheaper than new ones.
Somebody may want to re-charge them so they can swap them straight onto their vehicle without having to wait for theirs to get done
