The double sided tape is cut around leading me to think it should be there but there is no hole in tail gate for it. I THINK they just stick on, as a mate needed a new bonnet and his letters were stuck on with no location holes, etc.

Either way, not your problem, get LR to fix it. It would be considered a goodwill exercise Vs Warranty I'd think.

now you just need the D to fall off and change the 6 to an 8.
