    I've used the SS before and they are very effective.

    Be wary having the vehicle end too wide if you plan to do some "rougher" tracks or you'll catch and bend it.

    I think it was actually the trip down the centre (Katherine - Adelaide), and in '06 if my memory hasn't faded too much yet!!!
    Yours definitely got more of a workout on that trip - MANY more km's on dirt/shale/rocky roads!

    But I'll have to say my current one is a bit better, just because it was custom-made to suit the setup!

    You did manage to 'sell' me on the benefits of them, though!!
