    D3 Water Crossing Protection

    Hi All
    I'm doing a tag-along tour in the Victorian high country in April and one of the required items to bring is a tarp for water crossings. Now I don't expect we will be doing crossings that would benefit from having Moses coming along for the ride , and knowing (in theory) the wading capabilities of the Disco, I was wondering what people might have in the way of radiator protection, be it commercial blinds, tarps, custom designs or ad hoc? Photos would be welcome.

    You can make your own using occy straps and a plastic tarp. Or the MSA guys make an excellent one that has occy strap around it to make a better fit to the front of the car and a couple of tension straps that wrap around the rear view mirrors. Not sure of price we have had ours for years and use it when in the high country, Cape or Kimberley. It also has a cut out so you can fit a snatch strap which you then drape of a mirror

    As already stated just take a small tarp and some ocky straps, but I doubt that you will need it unless we get some decent rain. About the only place you may need it is the Murray at Tom Groggin.
