    Most tools that can change the CCF (m car configuration file) are locked to a vehicle VIN. Some dealers are not capable of using the equipment they have been supplied with, I remember having to talk a technician (he laughs) through setting up new keys for my D2. I had no idea what I was doing but if you read the screen and menu options hey presto!

    I was told by the local LR people that they have a policy of not making CCF changes for liability reasons ..... plus they are not overly familiar with all the files anyway.
