I would be interested in finding that out as well, the one in our D3 is not that fast anymore.
    Cheers,

Seems like it's uncommon but found this recent post on Disco3:
    DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - AMK Compressor Service Kit - i6 automotive
However, my read of it is that there's still some doubt regarding part number applicability:

"I have found a AMK compressor service kit being sold for ?29.99 by a company called i6 automotive.
    The kit covers compressor models LR02511, LR011839, LR015089, LR041777"

    and
"I replaced my compressor with an AMK version in Dec 2013. The part number was LR045251 at that time."

    Regards,
    Scott

Hi Scott, Thanks for your input. Seems like everyone with the new AMK compressor are having compressor free problems. This is a good thing. Lets hope this continues

While on the subject of compressors. Just noticed the new AMK Compressor is on sale 20% off at Duckworths, 480gbp inc vat, $900AUD is this cheap? Going to check how old mine is when i get it back next month.

Ah scratch that, just read someone paid the same price last year. Was going to buy one as a spare.

At the least the drier needs periodic service - replacement of the dessicant. My suspension was having dropping issues to varying degree overnight or over a week and it turned out to be old powdered dessicant under the seats of the valves in the valve block. As the dessicant ages it breaks down from granules into 'dust' and gets into the air lines and gradually builds up around seals. In the pics you can see the white powder around the seals. I imagine if there is any filter between the drier and the airlines that it would gradually block up and restrict flow too - someone more knowledgable than me will be able to answer that one.....One pic is after cleaning. Sorry for the blurry ones..... Oh, this was my Hitachi one but I assume the AMK would be the same re the drier.

When I look around they have gone up in price significantly over the last 12 months. $900 seems pretty good.
