When it occurs on 1st start, was the preceding run a short one that didn't warm-up fully?
as thesubject suggests. I had the the engine replaced in the D3 last Oct with one from a Territory with supposedly 12,000km on the clock.
Engine runs well, good economy, does not use oil and under acceleration normal smoke trail.
I have noticed a few times that when I start the engine there is a bit of smoke that was not present previously. This does not happen every time and can be at first start or after stopping and getting back in the D3.
Thoughts?
thanks in advance.
