D3 Head Unit Replacement - Tips?
I was going to get a GPS Unit with Reverse Camera and stick it in the central Dash Storage Area... but not I'm thinking its probably better to do a full replacement.
I believe the head unit will need to be double DIN and also need some side panels/fascias.
Has anybody does this before and if so, could you kindly give me some tips on how it went for you.
I'm after a unit which has bluetooth phone, GPS, reverse camera and Music.
I'm in Melbourne - so please feel free to recommend any local places who may do installs. Thanks.

I have thought about doing the same i started a thread and it has a few bits of handy info. No step by step though.

Here is a thread for www.d3.co.uk. it seems as though the biggest hurdle is getting the ISO adapters to work, particular getting a power ignition feed.

You can get some double din head units of ebay for as little as $200. Alternatively you can pay over $2k for an Alpine unit. I'm looking at something for about $450 of ebay running android, though not sure what additional setup it requires. The bonus is it runs most android apps, such as gps, music and a bluetooth OBDII code scanner
Cheers
