    Coolant on Driver's Floor?

Hi Everyone!.. my first post so be gentle..lol
I have a V8 Petrol Disco 3 (2005 year model) & it has a slight coolant leak that I cant yet find. There's a couple of bizarre things though:

    1) It only seems to lose about a litre of coolant and no more...hmmm
    2) This is gonna sound stoopid but....there's seems to be coolant pooling under my floormats on the driver's side floor.

    Any ideas?

Coolant will be from the HEVAC(heating/aircon) system.

Sound like it could be the heater core. The pipes usually corrode out. Does the heater work on fresh air? Not a definite answer but could tell you...
What Andy said, beat me to it.... I ended up just blocking mine off in the 2004 Magna this happened to last year. Would have fixed it if it was a D3 though!

They run coolant all the time, its part of the climate control system to select the temp you want, hopefully its just an O ring on a fitting under there.
When really hot have a feel of the radiator hoses to see if there seems to be excessive swelling in the hoses. This could indicate a leaking head gasket causing excess pressure in the cooling system.DONT OPEN THE COOLANT BOTTLE WHILST HOT.

    Andy is onto it....

I did that in the old HQ and HZ.
