Rear wheel bearings like to move it.

Thanks shane. I meant more that the mechanic wont by it just for my car. He only services mine and one other D3.

I dont have anything more than a set of spanners and sockets. No press, pullers or anything like that.

I tried to do a fair bit on my old D1 but found that for some things it was a pain if something wasnt as easy as the manual made it out to be. Thats fine when i have the time to wait a day or two to get new tools or parts but with this car i really dont have time for that.

I do have a landy specialist nearby but he is a pain to get to around work. I might give him a call and see what he charges.

SKF brearings as good as NTN.
Many years as Industrial Fitter, Qualified Engineer, and ex CBC employee {distributor of NTN}.

Agree, most of the big bearing brands are all good quality and theres not much between them - SKF, NSK, FAG, NTN, Timken
