Thanks Andy, that one looks well used. I will more than likely just buy it new, I can claim it through the business.
That photo does clear up one query I had though, on how it bolted up underneath, I see now there is a part that goes in place of the OEM hitch

Mitch Hitch arrived today, it took me about 30 mins to fit. Couldn't get bottom holes to line up.
And putting the bolt through the poly bush was a PITA.

Yes the hitch can be turned upside down.. legally...
The hitch I posted is available at
https://www.titanbrakes.com.au/rapid_hitch.php
When I fitted the Mitch Hitch the other day, I undid the 3 screws for one of the trailer plugs as per instructions.
I placed them on the rear bumper as you do, then after installing Mitch Hitch I forgot to put them back in the trailer plug as you do![]()
I took off to work 3hr round trip and found two out of the three screws still on the rear bumper the next dayI'll be damned if they would still be there if it was my Defender (ex).
Goes to show how smooth the ride is on the Discovery.

Hi Babs
Its a requirement that has been around for quite some time, but its not until you get an anal
mechanic to do your rego inspection ( yes i USED to know one ) that you find out.
Its called a monitor, which does just that. When you touch the foot brake, if the breakaway battery
is charged it shows a red light, if the battery is not charged you will get a warning.
