Had a look at the Backbone, looks great.
I notice you have to cut a portion of the ditch/channel rubber and not utilise the majority of it. I have never seen underneath that channel, would it be prone to accumulating debris and dirt etc?

The channel does anyhow.I went to the dealer to look at a secondhand D4 when I bought mine,previous owner had removed the roof rack ad the dealer was waiting for new roof strips.They hadnt cleaned out the channels yet,they were full of red dirt.

I was having a closer look Tombie, it's a lot of money for only few cross bars, you then have to buy the abs plastic floor panels. There is not a lot of tie down options, you can put tie down bolts in place of the screw down bolts, though it just doesn't seem that versatile.Quote:
