Was messing with mine the other day.
For older folk you can have it reading in MPG.The temp can be changed to farenheit too.
The trip meter only reads to 9999.9km,I leave trip B alone to get an average fuel economy. It was reset by the dealer at last service whilst connected to their diagnostics, its stuck on 9999.9km now.My economy on that B trip meter is 9.7L 100Ks.
I stretched the distance to empty on friday,at 1/4 tank it said 200km to empty in Perth, its 165km home.Got home it was down to the 0 mark, red light came on 75km to empty as I pulled into the driveway
Would love to know how the service due works things out.My guess it has both the date and milage in its sums and gives you an aproximation.Told my friday service due 3050km.Tells me today service due 2850km.Fridays trip would have been 350km,my service will be due to the 12 months not km traveled.Clever buggas arent they????

Sorry nothing to do with your thread, it just reminded me of it.
Your service due warning would have to go by time and klm for sure.
Your fuel range wasn't too far out, I have never taken notice of trip computers etc, I have never trusted their data.

Andy, the latest Renault vans are even smarter.
The diesel has service intervals of 30 000k,and the vehicle somehow tests the oil itself, and lets you know if it needs to be done earlier
And the little 1.6l diesel has similar power and torque of a TD5 Disco.
So, why can these magical cars give us all that data, tell you when the battery is getting low in the remote, let you know that your window washer bottle is low, but it WONT tell me I have a blown headlight????
It seriously cant be that hard.
And now, I have a car with NO headlights, as both globes have gone. That is 3 in under a month. Rang the dealer at 5pm today, and they have booked it in urgently.
I know they will charge me for the globes, and I will wear that, but at least they will be under warranty...

Lowest range I've risked
Replacing the globes isnt the issue, its finding out why they are blowing.Has to be an over voltage or earthing issue causing them to blow.

Service due function must be on later models to my 2012. Never come across that display.
