Hopefully there's less to stuff up with underbody protection... no welding at least??

Front Runner list a sump guard for the "LR4" (6 mm powder coated aluminium) - is there any reason that wouldn't fit a similar aged L320, even though they don't say so?
Just a question as I am new to the forum and also have a brand new My 16.5 Discovery 4 Graphite TDV6. I have owned previous 4wd which i heavily modified.I looked under my car and it seems to have a substancial two piece metal bash plate covering the motor, and it finishes where the rear of the front wishbones bolt onto the chasis. its then a large plastic cover with what appears to me metal foil inside it. So my question is what under car protection do I need? Only the last part of coverage for what I think is the gear box and transfer case. Further down the drivers side (RHS) is a metal plate which I assume is covering the fuel tank. The metal thickness of the front plates appears to be the same thickness. I just wonder if LR have now put decent bash plates on parts of their cars
For most use the std plates are ample.
Thanks Tombie. My concern is I will be doing some semi serious 4WD as I am in a 4WD club. My previous vehicle had bash plates, and they got a bit of a hammering. So I just wonder about that plastic piece. Looking at fabricators it seems the plates for the D4 come in 3 parts so I just wonder should I buy the 3rd part just in case?
If you're going to give it a hard time speak to APT...
Sorry what is APT

Couple of useful threads linked below, particularly worth noting the compressor guard.
This is arguably the most important one to get for a D4.
