It doesn't use the running average on its calcs - the fuel light has its own sensor - so will come on at 10l
The DTE is a rolling calculation based on a very short amount of data - so a quick blast can shorten DTE significantly.
I've left town on a drive where my DTE was higher 100km later than it was when I left...
Ive done the opposite with our Turbo Territory,150km to empty then a warning saying 40km to empty:):):):):)
