    It doesn't use the running average on its calcs - the fuel light has its own sensor - so will come on at 10l

    The DTE is a rolling calculation based on a very short amount of data - so a quick blast can shorten DTE significantly.

    I've left town on a drive where my DTE was higher 100km later than it was when I left...

    Ive done the opposite with our Turbo Territory,150km to empty then a warning saying 40km to empty

    Not grumpy.

    Just pointing out - all the power of the Internet in the palm of people's hands and they ask a question rather than do the time honoured tradition of 'research' (In modern terms often referred to as googling Low fuel warning )

    It's a good skill to search for info first and ask if unable to achieve an answer..

    Or switch to sand mode and watch the dte drop Low fuel warning

    I've had my dte down to 4km when I pulled in to the servo Low fuel warning still only took a bit over 72l

    I've been in a similar situation - slightly nose down in a forecourt waiting to get to the bowser my DTE clicked to 1km...

    I'm not too bothered. My gauge hasn't been accurate since crushing the tank 3 years ago..
