    lcd display question

    Hi All, the other day , I was going through some muddy holes so I was in Low range and in Mud Ruts program , while going through i noticed on the small LCD screen between the main Gauges showed a picture of a diff , only on for a few seconds, any one know what that means ?

    Does it have an ediff?

    2006 discovery 3 diesel , no ediff , also remembered seeing a diff picture on a 45 deg angle as well as a horizontal one

    Shows which way your front wheels are turnedHappens in special programs when the wheel is turned,dissapears when straight ahead.

    Im not convinced - every time it comes up on my dash the steering wheel is in a position that blocks the LCD

    Saves you sticking your head out the window to double check which way your wheels are pointing should you ever fail to proceed half way up a big hill.

    Always comforting to get that right before you start heading back down

    On our more modern D4s the icon is much higher in the display,plus it can be put up on the centre screen if you have the big screen
