    D3 test drive - Cairns

    Hi All,

    Any chance anyone would lend me their D3 for half an hour. Cairns 4870 or nearby. I'd be happy to fill up the fuel tank for the inconvenience.

    I'm looking at flying to Brisbane to buy one. Disco 3 seems like the right vehicle for my family, it's just I've never driven one.

    Any one gone from a defender to a disco?

    Sorry I'm to far away Ed.

    We went from a 110 wagon to the D2 because my wife didn't like driving the Defender much. Getting her into the D3 wasn't an issue.

    All the best with getting a test drive - I am pretty sure there is a D3 owner near Cairns but as it's Sunday afternoon I can't remember who.

    I'm on the Tablelands & out at work at the moment but:
    Next time I'm home I have to bring kids to Cairns to see doctors, 16/08 & 24/08 I think.
    If you want I will be driving a dirty 09 SE D3 & we could meet up & you could take it for a drive if you want.
    Bring your SWMBO.

    No offence but I would accompany you.

    If that sort of suits please PM me.

    Also, go & talk to Andrea at the Landy Center, he is very honest & knowledgeable, he owns a D3, I also suggest he service it for you.
