    Air Suspension bracket

    Hi All,
I am looking for a replacement air suspension bracket. Mine has broken on a recent outback trip and the local dealer in Canberra wants to charge me $2000 to replace the entire compressor unit. The compressor is working but the unit is vibrating. Any ideas? Can the bracket be easily replaced if a replacement item can be found? thanks

ps. The cause of the break? Maybe a rock; maybe a momentarily misplaced jack (not by me!).

I wouldn't go so far as to say easy, some of the fasteners are a bit of a pain to get to, but it's not terribly difficult.

RQU500064 is the part number you need to find for the bracket itself, RVL500014 for the mounting rubber (2 needed).

Probably $150 in parts, more if you need them quickly....

The Hitachi compressor bracket can be purchased separate from the compressor - one example Suspension Air Compressor Bracket for Land Rover Discovery 3
    $110

Go and see Paul at Lennock Motors in Canberra - you need to go to LR spares now in the Jaguar Showroom not Lennock Spares in Dundas Court. Paul knows his stuff and should sort you out.

Definitely can get the brackets for the hiatchi. Try hitting up a few LR Indy, mine had one sitting around from doing upgrades to the amk.
    But....
I dare say you have prob done damage to the compressor. Tyre shop in bundy dos the same thing to mine. I got the bracket fixed but the compressor still sounded like a tin can full of coins. It still worked for about 2 years though.
